On January 5, 2023, we lost our valued friend and colleague, Nicole Steffan.
Nicole paved her way as a highly respected professional through passion, creativity, and a natural intuition for the industry.
Nicole was accepting of all – she was empathetic, understanding and knew what to say and when to say it. Her heart and personality were contagious. She was a comforting soul to confide in – always willing to listen, never judging and sharing sage advice. Many of her family and friends have commented that she was a beacon and has been instrumental in their success and happiness. She was everyone’s personal cheerleader.
With an affinity to challenge herself and push limits, she completed two ½ marathons and several bike-a-thons, raising awareness and thousands of dollars for breast cancer. As a keynote speaker, she shared an inspiring and empowering account of her fight and journey with breast cancer.
Because of Nicole's wish that donations be made to Canadian Blood Services and to consider becoming regular blood donors, we are championing this cause in her name.
Your support of Canadian Blood Services will play an integral role in connecting patients with lifesaving blood and blood products where and when they need them. By making a financial gift, you become an integral part of Canada’s Lifeline.
